National Sales Manager - Housewares/Gourmet Channel (REMOTE) - Now Hiring

Our client is an innovative and fast-growing global kitchenware brand with a large portfolio of exceptional products and pipeline of new product launching in coming years.
To support the company's growth a newly created position that focuses growing and managing the company's independent/gourmet channel in the US.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success and be driven and motivated to join a fun/energetic team.
This individual will also have sales management experience in the housewares/kitchenware sector that includes managing independent rep groups.
Essential ResponsibilitiesDrive to exceed annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets.
Aggressively expand product placement and breadth of assortment for both new and existing accounts.
Manage, motivate, coach, educate and train independent sales reps.
Provide a positive outlook and offer solutions and suggestions for improvement.
Generate and distribute sales analysis including, but not limited to, monthly territory sales reports, last ordered reports and quarterly principal reports.
Development of annual sales budget and distribution of individual sales rep goals.
Inventory forecasting for Independent channel on a monthly basis.
Communicate any major changes to forecast to Vice President of Sales prior to monthly demand planning meeting.
Conduct regular outbound calls to inactive accounts.
Manage relationships with various buying groups, including but not limited to Gourmet Catalog, HTI, Palmer Marketing and Southwest Buying Group.
Provide recommendations for quarterly promotions.
Conduct frequent online audits ensuring ecommerce retailers are using best images, videos, copy and maintaining MAP.
Attend semi-annual all-hands rep training webinars.
Attend all regional trade shows.
Travel to NE sales office once a quarter.
Requirements & Qualifications5
years of sales management experience in independent/gourmet housewares channel in a sales management roleMust be a proactive problem solver and thoughtful in approach to addressing challenges.
Must have a positive attitude and be a fit with the company culture.
Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Ability to challenge and motive self to perform at a high level when working remotely.
Ability to set budgets, manage expenses, and plan for profitable business.
Ability to travel 30-40% as needed#J-18808-Ljbffr#J-18808-LjbffrSalary:
$64 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
