Independent Field Inspector
JMI Reports, Inc. began operation in 1987 and has grown substantially over the years. We are an insurance services company that performs insurance property loss control inspections for both residential and commercial lines, along with high-value home inspections, farm reports, and customized re-underwriting.

JMI Reports, Inc. is currently seeking Independent Contractors to complete onsite insurance inspections immediately.
Requirements. Contractor Conditions.
No experience is necessary for this position. However, applicants with backgrounds in insurance, real estate, firefighting or construction are preferred, but are not mandatory.
A JMI Reports, Inc. Independent Contractor must possess
o A personal computer that is equipped with a high-speed internet connection, a working printer, and the skills to fluently operate both
o A quality digital camera
o A reliable vehicle and an accompanying clean driving record
o A mobile phone
o Good communication skills
o Ability to set up appointments as needed
o The self-motivation necessary to be an asset to our company

JMI Reports, Inc. is proud to feature a team that is efficiently able to
o Speak directly with policyholders and communicate effectively
o Safely drive to residential and commercial properties
o Record on-site observations based on customer-specific requirements
o Identify and photograph potential hazards
o Take on-site measurements
o Quickly and efficiently complete routine underwriting reports
o Upload digital photographs to the JMI Reports, Inc. website
o Use field diagramming software to create and submit drawings
o Manage assignments that are given to field representatives on a daily or weekly basis
This is an Independent Contractor 1099 position. All inspections are completed in the field within a 14- and 21-day period.
Completed reports are paid to the inspector with an established per report fee structure. Payment for completed reports is issued weekly.
There is a New Applicant Assessment required as part of the application process. A complete online application in full and assessment with a passing score is required for consideration.
